Historical 5.5X8 German document signed in fountain pen ink by Sigfrid Henrici giving Josef Gebauer a medal. During the invasion of Poland in 1939, Henrici was the commander of the 16th Infantry Division (motorized). He commanded XXXX Panzer Corps from November 1942 to October 1943, when he was severely wounded in Ukraine. He was taken prisoner by the Red Army on 9 May 1945 and was released from Soviet captivity in 1955. He died on 8 November 1964. Comes with a full Letter of Authenticity from Todd Mueller Authentics.
