Up for sale is a document appointing Lowell Pinkerton a Foreign Service Officer. Signed by Calvin Coolidge as president and Charles Hughes as Secretary of State. Presidential seal present and in nice condition. Dated June 6th, 1924. Pinkerton had a distinguished career in the foreign service and, among other assignments, was the first U. Ambassador to The Sudan. Document is in nice condition and measures approximately 22 x 18 inches. Has chip to seal and minor creases elsewhere.
